In spring of 2014 Susan and Allen Newberry, owners of Mattress Warehouse and Furniture in Yuma, purchased the Barenholz Furniture property at 7512 E. 32nd Street in the Foothills. After a summer of refurbishing, an expanded store opened as Newberry’s Furniture on October 3rd, 2015.
Unique store features include Yuma’s exclusive Best Home Furnishing Custom Gallery and departments displaying Southern Motion, La Crosse Furniture and Cambridge of California. Also unique to Newberry’s is our Mattress Express division.
The Best Home Furnishings Custom Gallery offers a large selection of furniture in stock from our 8,000 sq. foot warehouse. Custom orders are available in only 4 weeks through our B.H.F design center. From B.H.F. we also offer smaller scaled furniture ideal for R.V.s, Park Models, Manufactured Homes, and apartments including assisted living. For the larger home, sectionals, love seats with consoles and sofas are available with or without motion and / or power motion. Want to live large? B.H.F. has home theater groupings and their Beast Recliner Collection is ideal for your Man Cave.
Our Southern Motion department features recliners, love seats with or with out consoles, sofas and sectionals for the larger home. They are the first to introduce the power head rest.
Cambridge of California, La Crosse Furniture and B.H.F. brands provide our customers with sleeper sofas in Twin, Full and Queen size. Sleepers are available with 5 to 7 inch coil mattress or an 11 inch air mattress.
Mattress Express features Serta, Therapedic and Stress O Pedic sleep products offering buy it
today, sleep on it tonight. We have a 98% in stock fill rate and our mattresses are sold with a one year Comfort Warranty. Also in stock are Short Queens for our R.V. customers. Custom mattresses are also available.
Company wide, our sales associates are factory trained and updated with new product information weekly. Additionally, they can help you with custom design orders. Both stores are open year-a-round 7 days a week.
Our generous Free Delivery service to the greater Yuma area includes Wellton, Dome Valley, Martinez Lake, Imperial Dam, Somerton and San Luis, Arizona and Winterhaven, California. Free delivery is also included for military bases M.C.A.S. and Y.P.G. For a small fee, delivery service can be arranged to Roll, Tacna, Dateland, Parker and Quartsite, Arizona and El Centro, Imperial, Brawely and Blythe, California.
